![]() The game does not like you putting anything that can be assigned over water. I tried using the same command w/o clicking on a bed and it returned nothing so I assume there's another command to display the totals as that mod shows.īut according to what I find, all my beds are sheltered.Първоначално публикувано от Bored Peon:Couple of things.ġ. So I think either the mod is broken somehow or there's a conflict. I put one outside and tested it and the command works. I went around clicking on all the beds and I had NONE unsheltered. The Settlement Management software is showing me 24 total and 18 unsheltered. Click on the bed and type getav 334, and it returns 1.00 for a sheltered bed and 0.00 for an unsheltered bed. Like Abernathy Farm when you take control, since there is three unsheltered beds nobody will assign themselves to a bed.īored Peon, I had an interesting evening last night, pouring over all your posts on Steam with others. It can also cause all settlers to not assign themself to a bed. Settlers will not assign themself to an unsheltered bed. My guess would be the settlement manage mod would be the issue, way too many pople use the scrap everything mod and it would be known fairly quick if that bugged beds because you basically lose 20 target happiness. Now the problem is if one of your mods is causing an issue then using a console command is only going to give you the same results while those mods are running. ![]() Then what you would do is point a the bed and type getav commandnumber (commandnumber being the number assigned on the line in the help list) and it should come back as either a 1 or a 0. The command name has shelter in it i think, it does not have bed in the name. You can find it if you type help workshop then that will give you EVERY console command involving the workshop. So for me to see the list again would require starting a new game or installing the console mod and achievmeent mod, which I dont really want to do but may have to since aholes fixed my non mod/console workaround for bugged original beds without fixing the beds. That useless wiki website does not even have a full list of the commands. I play survival so I do not get to use console commands anymore. I have never had any sort of shelter penalty for not having walls. I have had MANY settlements where I jsut threw a roof up and some beds under without walls until I got a chance to come back and build normally. I would suspect it is the beds because you are getting different values in the same room. Something is messing with your workshop pieces or beds. They say "Sheltered means that the bed is assigned to a settler." Any and all help would be really appreciated. I searched and found most of the console commands on line but nothing on beds. Where did you find the command to check the bed for shelter? I'm thinking the Settlement Mgmt software may be messing with me. That's how I'm able to remove the beds that won't scrap. I should also mention I'm using Scrap Everything, which lets me, well scrap everything. So I went to Outpost Zimonja and added 1 floor, and a roof, placed by place enywhere.Īdded a prefab room, with a bed. (1.The game does not like you putting anything that can be assigned over water. Added 1 back and that bed was flagged as not providing shelter. I added another bed in the same room, and that bed was flagged as not providing shelter. So that's why I thought it needed a closed door. I added 1 wall to snap a roof onto, and 1 roof. It was flagged for not providing shelter. I added a room over the house, above the second floor. I'm checking the beds using Settlement Software. When I add beds to the second floor, the first 2 are sheltered, and after that, they are not. You do not need to scrap/rebuild something for the game to recalculate it, picking it up and moving it has same effect. Settlers do not need to path to their beds to use them. Why do you keep figuring walls into sheltered? Only a roof matters.ĥ. Yes there is a console command for sheltered bed detection, that is what the mod uses.Ĥ. If you are using building mods that modify pieces then it might be those pieces are not flagging right for providing shelter.ģ. For example, a store over water and the vendor just says "huh."Ģ.
